R.W. Lyall Celebrates 40 Years Of Manufacturing Excellence
On May 3, 1974, Lyall shipped its first product to a natural gas industry affiliate. This shipment marked the first step in a journey of growth and development for the Lyall company, which has now spanned four decades. On May 3, 2013, Lyall celebrated this journey with a 40th anniversary party at the company’s headquarters in Corona, California. During the daylong party, Lyall’s leadership team, employees, customers and guests celebrated the company’s growth from its humble beginnings in Bob Lyall’s garage to more than 200,000 square feet of manufacturing space in two states.
The weather was party perfect, and attendees toured a classic car exhibition while surf music set the mood. Jeff Lyall kicked off the day thanking the Lyall team, customers and special guests in attendance, as well as reflecting on Lyall’s history and development. Bruce Lange, Lyall’s vice president of operations, then spoke about the future, announcing the acquisition of Lyall’s new 95,000-square-foot facility located in New Berlin, Wisconsin.
After the speeches, lunch was a Southern California classic – In-N-Out burgers and Wayabo tacos. Lyall wrapped up their celebration with an employee raffle featuring numerous prizes, including a 50-inch television.
